That reasoning only makes the BCS more of a joke. The BCS is at best a compromise overlaid upon a collection of exhibition games - exhibition games which are set up by local organizations which have little interest in what anyone else is doing except regarding competition for their event.
A championship isn't "fixing" the BCS...it's doing something entirely different.
