The BCS is a joke. It is done in other divisions and can be done in 1A. It's done because it's done for the atheletes, and because almost no one cares about the games. In 1A football, hundreds of thousands of people go on vacation for the exhibition games, generally in nice, sunny places. The Bowl games aren't really championship games at all, and they don't belong to the NCAA.

I understand. The 1AA playoff system considers the well being of the student athletes first because little money is involved but in 1A the money takes precedence over the student athlete because of the large sums involved. That reasoning only makes the BCS more of a joke.
