What prominent person would live in Framingham when Dover or Weston is nearby?
Apparently Roger Clemens. Land in Framingham is a lot cheaper, so you get a lot more for your buck. The cops in Weston or Dover will pull over any low riders with Brazilian flags, so the need for protection isn't quite as pressing there. There are some really nice parts of North Framingham, but ...(My daughter played a soccer game in Weston once, the person assigned "orange and water" duty didn't show so I covered. I nearly had to mortgage my house to get two dozen oranges and a couple of gallons of bottled water.)
I also suspect that anyone in Weston or Dover who wants a pistol permit gets one unless they're a convicted mass murderer. I just couldn't believe the Chief of Police would make a statement like that in to the press. It's an open invitation to rob his house. And it was Clemens last season in Boston after that.
