It gets better then that, the mets clubhouse attendent who has checks, is claiming they were for steroids and HGH (he was a suplier to the trainer), but clubbies get checks for just about everything from buying pizza for the team to picking up laundry to getting tickets for concert.
The trainer, is a bit different, but yea, any checks to him could be for training sessions, or just to reimburse him for travel expenses, etc.

Clubhouse attendants are always getting paid by players to act as gophers. Tipping & fronting money for various puposes is done all the time. Doesn't prove much by itself unless the guy receiving the compensation testifies as to what it was for.
