NEW YORK (AP) - He may not have won "American Idol," but Chris Daughtry is the king of the album charts this year, according to Billboard. The "Idol" finalist's band, Daughtry, sold 3.2 million copies of their self- titled debut, making it the most popular album of the year, according to the trade magazine.

American Idol lost all credibility when Daughtry was cut.
Yep, just as I predicted. It is a great CD, and that is coming from someone who only listens to talk radio. I hadn’t bought an album in over 20 years.
I bought it twice - which I never do. I downloaded it from Itunes, and then I realized I wanted the case with the lyrics so I bought the CD.
Daughtry is a helluva singer, refreshing in today’s assembly-line music atmosphere.
