Just heard on the Stern show that the NY Daily News claims that Pettitte is going to be named, too.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!

(Those laughs come from a Red Sox fan, so you Yankmee fans can just wait a while to laugh at me if/when a Sox player gets named.)

From the NY Daily News:

Among the names expected to appear in the Mitchell Report today are two of the most revered pitchers in Yankee history - Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte.

According to a source familiar with information provided to Mitchell, Brian McNamee, the longtime personal trainer for the players, gave the former Senate majority leader conducting a steroids investigation for Major League Baseball, information linking Clemens to the use of steroids and human growth hormone and Pettitte to human growth hormone.

According to the source, who asked not to be identified because of the sensitivity of the information, both players were provided the substances to help them recover from injury.

Speculate all you want but I’m going with Petitte not being on the list.

Of course we know that Nomar and others from the Red Sox could possibly be nailed with the steroid tag.

They were smart enough to go with HGH.
