Long rumored, wouldn’t be a surprise. But he also played for Boston and Texas.

Andy and Roger both have 4 kids each. I thought use of Steroids made men impotent?

Dunno. I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on Free Republic.

Probably, with a whole bunch of names in the report it will make Bonds no longer the poster boy of roids. And if there’s a bunch of pitchers on the list then roided hitters will just be “maintaining the balance”. Of course most of the fanbase has never really cared about the issue anyway, this has been an issue to reporters and sometimes Congress.

Also, The Bergen (N.J.) Record, citing a baseball industry official, says “several” prominent Yankees will be named in the Mitchell report. The paper said the source spoke to a third party who had seen the final report.

“It’s going to be a rough day in the Bronx,” the paper quoted the source as saying.

Here's the best part of that story:

He shriveled up like a lizard.
And there is nothing worse than a seroid induced nut injury.
That picture even looks painful!

It’s really sad that baseball used the roided-up players to revive the game after the 1994 strike. And now the same players that the owner used, and most likely knew were on steroids and hgh, are now going to take the fall.
I’m not going to shed tears for multi-million dollar athletes that got caught. But this joke of having Mitchell, a complete disaster as majority leader in the senate, acting like a holier than though investigator makes me sick. Selig and the owners are the primary reasons for this mess and they’ll all get a pass.

Where did you get that? I did not call the report BS. If you are referring to my post about “another name that b(%&*$#&#d Mitchell will name: Roy Hobbs” that was sarcasm. Google the name Roy Hobbs.

I wonder if the cable networks will break into the dim debate to cover the BB press conference? I’m working at home today in order to catch both.

You're right about that. Both the owners and the players share an equal amount of blame---and I think the owners are going to take their fair share of lumps, too. I think most people know it took two to tango in this dance . . .

Somewhere, having coffee and reading the sports section, Pete Rose is laughing his ass off.

And you know, I love the NFL. But does anybody really think that a 360 pound line got there just by eating right and taking the proper protein supplements. The Patriots are about to go undefeated. And the dolphins from the 72 team are mouthing off about it. Well this patriot team would crush that dolphin team, 80 to nothing. The size and speed of the defensive and offensive lineman is so superior today. So if I were dolphin I’d say the patriot record is tainted because of the steroids in the NFL.
