I’ve read a lot of these posts. There seems to be a fixation for LDS posters to demand denominational status.

The thing is, Christians think of themselves as Christians first. The Christian denomination they fellowship in is generally secondary. Most Christian churches have some core central beliefs they agree upon, which unifies them as belonging to the Body of Christ (the church).

Mormon teachings fall outside those core central beliefs.
