That wasn’t the original question. The statement was made that the Mormons were driven out of Jackson County in ~1837 because they were anti-slavery, that simply wasn’t true. I quoted racist Parley Pratt, one of the Twelve Apostles who was at Jackson County, claiming they were just as racist as anyone else. Smith was at Kirtland at that time busy counterfeiting money, he wasn’t at Zion.
