Just because you can get something done with Windows Mobile does not mean it represents any sort of quality. One can be functional with a bad product, but it's still a bad product. That's a nice generality, but I'm sure you can realize that it says nothing about the relative capabilities of the iPhone vis-a-vis a Windows Mobile product. Care to present an actual, specific example of something I cannot do on this phone but that I could do with an iPhone? I have yet to have anyone answer that question, but I am more than willing to admit I'm wrong if anyone can.

It's not about comparing specific points of functionality. I'm not saying the iPhone is the end all of smartphones. I'm saying it's a major leap in the right direction.
I'm glad Windows Mobile lets you do your job. But at the same time, it's not a great product.
