Wait until you get to the thread about Mary being a hooters girl after she got knocked up unmarried...It is actually never disgusting.

Do none of these tarts bother to marry anymore?

Britney did. Now's she's getting ready to shell out big $$$ in child support, alimony and lost custody.

I’m old school.....I would not take a woman’s money period.

Rich or not....and I spent many years with an heiress and did not usurp her wealth....

Britney is losing custody because she doesn’t care enough to behave and cowboy up to mothering.

She has many lifetimes of money and could have just devoted her life to raising the children she created. She chose otherwise.

and despite his “i wanna be a black thug” persona, he does at least seem to care about his spawn....more power to him.

and none of that is the fault of marriage, it’s the fault of irresponsibility

modern culture is a veritable roadmap of primitive tribal culture and it’s lack of man/wife and nuclear parental roles versus modern more accomplished culture and it’s emphasis on mothers/fathers and cohesive two parent families

we ignore or abandon that at our very peril

With all sincerity, I would rather read about unwed Hollywood pregnancy being brought to term than to read of the 'joys' of abortion (ala Whoopi Goldberg and other rabid feminazi types of her generation). This new generation of Hollywood gals seems to be embracing motherhood (at least for the photo ops...alot of well paid nannies I suppose these days). But given the choice, I prefer the 'baby blabber' than the coathanger waving crowd.

Britney is mentally unstable (post partum depression plus recreational drugs plus enablers). KFed got the kids, because compared to Brit he is a paragon of virtue...(and that is a sarcasm). But I will give Mr. Federline props...you never see him using his kids as photo ops; and the court appointed monitor(s) always side with the care and environment he provides.

Of course ...having the baby is better than killing it but this is not an either/or situation

when I was a kid, anyone having illegitimate babies was scandalous and this was pre-Roe

nowadays, it’s celebrated

and it’s wrong.....very wrong.

the strongest emotion in the world is not the mythic love of parents for children but rather the need children have to have felt wanted by their parents....both of them

i know this as surely as I know the sun will rise to my east

i have seen hardened gropwn men who have killed without remorse get choked up when reflecting why daddy didn’t care enough to make a family with mom.....and resented mom for letting it happen.

fathers are more important to boys than mothers to be candid....less so with girls

so Miss Alba...delicious as she is....and nice of her to not kill the baby for convenience...should be married...that’s it

I guess we will have to wait for the memoir to know of that (if there is anything to know).

I don't dispute the need for dads in childrens' lives...however, in the rarified land that Jessica (and other glitterati) lives in, a good nanny, sadly, is what is the barometer of a happy childhood. Alba won't be a welfare queen or a burden to society. She could marry the 'babydaddy' tomorrow and divorce next week (really just internet foder)...this all is just a little celeb blip on a (mercifully) slow news day.

i totally agree with you. and it doesn’t bother me in the slightest that we will be called judgmental for our views. it is the fear of being so labelled that has lead us to the sorry state of societal decay in which we currently reside.

We had a housekeeper/governess when I lived overseas with my daughters almost 20 years ago....it is a big help not doubt.

My second wife (of 10 years) won’t have it. We have a hosecleaner weekly and several girls who help out at least once a week but that’s it.

I would probably opt for more help in a bigger home....we have a lot of children.

but I would never pass them off like some do

here in nashville, I live close to several prominant celebs....some put everything on the nanny....others don’t

I loved my father as a matter of fact my life has not been the same since his death.

Years ago, in my mid 20’s, I briefly dated a guy who was a deacon in our baptist church, who told me he wanted and EXPECTED to marry a virgin, even though HE was NOT. Also, while he was dating me he was still having sex with his ex-girlfriend.

After my dad died I had a unexpected surprise and now she is 4. I always think she is the replacement for the loss in the family!

I am kind of surprised. She doesn’t look like she has enough body fat to have a baby.
