One of the BCS Championship choices has been eliminated. :-) Let's knock off the other one!

B.S.
I’d love to see Missouri’s offense up against Florida in a real game.

Well, yeah, it is somewhat a popularity contest. I am sure the USC bandwagon followers would have voted USC over anyone.
However, I would like to these games. All these games. sigh... Football is almost over for another year. :-(

ESPN is doing the same “virtual championship” and in the first installment this AM had KS over WV and GA over Hawaii. The second round will be posted tomorrow. Any chance the brain-dead NCAA will ever do the obvious? Nah.

“However, I would like to (see) these games.”
Amen, brother.

I would put money on Southern Cal all day long against any team there.

Well, Mizzou didn’t fare so well against a football team much better than Florida, the Sooners.

OU, if their defense and offense play to their ability, would smack down USC. Boomer Sooners!!

That is precisely why a playoff system is needed. If the lower divisions can do it, why can’t the top tier?

One of the BCS Championship choices has been eliminated. :-) Let's knock off the other one!I don't have a dog in this fight but having watched both teams several times during the season, Oklahoma handles Ohio State without too much trouble. If every team brought their "A" game, I would rank Oklahoma #1, LSU #2, and Southern Cal #3, then a big drop to #4a Missouri and #4b Ohio State.

The last time the Okies proclaimed superiority over USC was in the 2005 BCS Championship at the Orange Bowl.. If I recall, the final score was USC 55 - OU 19 !!!

“Well, Mizzou didnt fare so well against a football team much better than Florida, the Sooners.”
Right. Much better.
OU is probably the best team in the country right now. That doesn’t change my belief that Missouri would beat Florida.

“Tim Tebow vs Mizzou....”
Chase Daniel and his diverse, unmatched array of offensive weapons vs Florida.
I didn’t say it wouldn’t be a high scoring game.
