Note that the sign the girl is painting in the first photo ended up in the hands of the girl in the second photo. The ‘volunteers’ create all the hand-painted signs that everyone thinks the attendees made themselves. It’s all a sham, for appearances’ sake.

I was going to make that exact same observation myself.

When I was in high school - Richard Nixon was going to come to our school to make a speech (yeah, I know - I was in high school a LONG time ago). We actually made signs ourselves for Nixon, of course - this was with the encouragement of Nixon's staff that came earlier that day. My friends & I made a huge banner that said "Students for Nixon". They sat us right behind the President & that picture was forever preserved in my yearbook.
