After Dallas beat Washington in December 1979, there was talk in the locker room afterward and some of it amounted to having compassion for the Redskins. Harvey Martin heard some of that and said "Never feel sorry for Washington".

That's how I feel about Kitna and the Lions, and everyone else that have fallen to the Cowboys this year.

Oh, & BTW:

GO COWBOYS!!!!! !

Kyle Boller is such an awful quarterback, it’s downright embarrassing.

Agreed, but he fits with Baltimore’s joke of an offense.

The only thing good about this Ravens game are the pictures of crab cakes.

I know, I know, we got our buns handed to us. Hey we did that a few years ago. I think we won the Super Bowl at a #6 seed. Happening all over again except we will be seeded higher.

Steelers are alive.

but she doesn't distract him when there's a game to be played.

Yup, Jessica Simpson doesn't seem to be distracting Romo in the way that that Carrie Underwood did last year.

As a side note, Undwerwood's latest song makes fun of her distractive powers. It's called "All American Girl", and it describes a gal who dates the star quarterback, who subsequently begins to play badly. The gal gets nothing but grief from the community because of what she's doing to lower the QB's productivity.

According to WOAI San Antonio (Cowboys sports network), John Kita told Fox’s Pam Oliver at the half that the NFL wanted Dallas to win, hence a no call against Roy Williams.

I am wondering if that will get a fine. It would have been if T.O. had said it.

Yup, if I were dating her, I’d be distracted from my job, too.

Apparently she cannot keep a guy due to “commitment issues”. Which usually translates, “I won’t sleep with a guy unless he gives me a ring.”

It looks like the Cowboys have new incentive to embarrass Kitna again the next time they play each other. That is, if Kitna is invited to remain in the NFL after this year.

The Ravens got spanked for talking trash about the officials so I would expect an even bigger fine.

There are what, an average of 150 or so plays each game with 22 players on the field each time? That’s 3,300 potential penalty opportunities of some kind. On those 150 snaps the refs will miss things due to being out of position, acting like egotistical asses because someone yelled at them earlier in the game or from seeing something they didn’t due to the speed of the game. Plus, if the NFL was really trying to dictate the outcome of a game there would be someone who would leak it to the press.

That’s not to say there have not been a bunch of bad calls already this year though.......

If the Pats face the Steelers again in January do you think Brady will come out throwing to Welker on every play? It seemed like the more Brady threw to him the less the Steelers thought he would on the next play.
