My old kitty was a character, too, he knew the sound of the can opener, back in the days of canned cat food. He knew the sound of my friend’s car motor as well as the sound of that car door closing, his ears would perk as he headed for the door to greet them. Very perceptive critter.
The more I observe them the more I realize that they are a lot more observant than I am.
