well, you know, excel only did for business what the automobile did for transportation. but Apple did for...well, the iPod did for music what...the walkman did a few years ago.

with a legacy like that, you’re bound to be a little heady.

The funny thing is the iPod was ridiculously overpriced and over hyped when it was introduced. I spent maybe $40 on a San Disk MP3 Companion right around the time the iPods were all the rage. I think the going rate for an iPod at that time was well over $200. Does everything I want plus the music is stored on a USB drive. Ipod on a hard drive.

My point is the iPod isn't as good as many of the Creative players out there but Apple's marketing is what sells them and the fanbase also helps I guess they are called groupies.
