The hard drives are new—less than 8 months old. C drives—raid backup mode.
I have another HD or two that are reasonably new.
And most of my files I store on flash drives 4 Gig (3 flash drives) and a 2 gig and a 1 gig flash drive. The only thing on the C drive is the software and the webshots photos for my screen saver and wall paper.
Conceivable but IIRC, the problem was erratically present before I replaced my HD’s . . . and since.
What dual boot software do you recommend—in temrs of the DUAL BOOT package to manage the dual boot?
I use Grub which is packaged with Fedora Core 8. I use this because I am familiar with it and can write the commands for booting up OSs.
