In other words, lighten up, Francis. I concur. Being paranoid about all this stuff will just make you crazy. There are germs in the world. Deal with it.
I would submit that most people's homes, those that are most obsessive about hotels and restaurants, probably have more "health" violations in those homes than in any hotel.
There's many more cases of food poisoning that originate in home kitchens than in restaurants, and most home bathrooms are far less sanitary than a hotel bathroom.
