same source and this one made me LOL!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Steeler fan, a Browns fan and a Titans fan were all in Saudi Arabia, sharing a smuggled crate of booze. All of a sudden the Saudi police rushed in and arrested them. The mere possession of alcohol is a severe offense in Saudi Arabia, so for the terrible crime of actually being caught consuming the booze, they were sentenced to death!
However, with the help of very good lawyers, they were able to successfully appeal their sentence down to life imprisonment. By a stroke of luck, it was a Saudi national holiday the day their trial finished, and the extremely benevolent Sheik decided they could be released after receiving just 20 lashes each of the whip. As they were preparing for their punishment, the Sheik suddenly said, "It's my first wife's birthday today, and she has asked me to allow each of you one wish before your whipping."
The Titans fan was first in line (he had drunk the least), so he thought about this for a while and then said, "Please tie a pillow to my back." This was done, but the pillow only lasted 10 lashes before the whip went through. The Titans fan had to be carried away bleeding and crying with pain when the punishment was done.
The Browns fan was next up (he almost finished an entire fifth by himself), and after watching the scene, said "All Right! Please fix two pillows on my back." But even two pillows could only take 15 lashes before the whip went through again, sending the Browns fan out crying like a little girl.
The Steeler fan was the last one up (he had finished off the crate), but before he could say anything, the Sheik turned to him and said, "You support the greatest team in the world, your team has some of the best and most loyal football fans in the world. For this, you may have two wishes!" "Thanks, your most Royal highness," the Steeler fan replies. "In recognition of your kindness, my first wish is that you give me not 20, but 100 lashes."
"Not only are you an honorable, handsome and powerful man, you are also very brave," the Sheik says with an admiring look on his face. "If 100 lashes is what you desire, then so be it. And your second wish? What is it to be?" the Sheik asks.
"Tie the Browns fan to my back
An airplane takes off from the airport. The Captain is Jewish and the First Officer is Chinese. It's the first time they've flown together and it's obvious, by the silence, that they don't get along.
After thirty minutes, the Jewish Captain mutters: "I don't like Chinese." The First Officer replies: "Oooooh, no like Chinese? Why dat?" "Your people bombed Pearl Harbor. That's why I don't like Chinese." "Nooooo, noooo, Chinese not bomb Peahl Hahbah. That Japanese, not Chinese." "Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese... it doesn't matter, you're all alike."
Another thirty minutes of silence. Finally, the First Officer says: "No like Jew." "Why not? Why don't you like Jews?" "Jews sink Titanic." "The Jews didn't sink the Titanic. It was an iceberg." "Iceberg, Goldberg, Rosenberg, Spielberg; no mattah ... all da same."
I hope all of you have wonderful warm shoes for the winter. I still wear sandals. I’m giggling here.
We went to the grocery store today, and I was in shorts, shirt (V-neck, no-sleeve, loose weave sweater) and my huerachies. Hair in a ponytail.
Low tonight of 50-degrees. High tomorrow of 75-80.
You have to love me at this time of year. LOL!
the thing is, slip, it isn’t really cold here at all yet. we had mid-50s during the day today which isn’t bad at all. i am comfortable in a sweater at that temperature. i have yet to wear a coat this fall/winter. i would detest your heat there, so i think i have the better deal with not too many days of horribly hot or horribly cold weather. it was much colder in the ice rink than it was outside!
Still in the fifties during the day here........I wear a skijacket style vest over a sweater during the day. I have worn a winter jacket one night while on call....it was dang cold that night. Otherwise it’s been mild so far.
I see up in Syracuse the lake-effect snow was bad with lots of accidents. Nasty looking up there....I think Fox had some film on.....so you might have spotted it too.
Do these poems come to you while you’re beginning dinner? How do you come up with them? Excellent!
Well, just dang, Cook!
I was just watching the Darwin Theory on National Geographic on the Galapagos Islands. The birds, lizards, seals, so many things.
And then on the 6th day God created man. On the 7th day He rested.
Tell your daughter a “Thank you” from me. Now I have reasons for my Scotch and water.
***
New Rule : There’s no such thing as flavored water. There’s a whole aisle of this crap at the supermarket, water, but without that watery taste. Sorry, but flavored water is called a soft drink. You want flavored water? Pour some scotch over ice and let it melt. That’s your flavored water.
