Women over 40 years of age SHOULD NOT deliver babies.

I beg to differ. My grandmother had 15 children, starting ar age 35. My father was born when she was about 50, and he was not the youngest. She and my grandfather lived till their middle 90's, in their home 90 miles north of Duluth, MN.

In that day and age, concieving a baby at 50, and naturally (as that was the only way back then) is a MAJOR feat!

Your grandmother had children AFTER she was 50.

Those were different times...a different era. Today many people are much more materialistic...they want THINGS! And, I would guess that the great majority of women, from their early 50s, can no longer conceive. The ages when girls can, and can no longer, conceive have shifted. Some people attribute it to vitamins. I don't know.
