Did Keith Olbermann slander British Airways to sell the Global Warming Lie
myself | 12 Novermber 2007 | Trueblackman

Posted on 11/12/2007 7:02:13 PM PST by Trueblackman

Yes Freepers, I just got in this evening, switched on the TV and there is Countdown(to no ratings)with Keith Olbermann.

Seems the one who combs his hair with butter toast was railing against British Airways flying empty 747 back to the United States with crew and cargo. Seems Overbite was outraged at the fact that this was taking place and his segment was complete with some Greenpeace nut scream her head off about the tons of CO2 gasses that these planes are suppose to be producing.

British Airways admitted that sometimes it does send planes stateside with a simply aircrew and cargo, Overbite ends this segment claiming that B.A. should put the crew on full B.A. Flights.

Never have I seen a more one sided and ill-informed POS in my life.

Here are a few facts I think Overbite left out of his slandering reporting.

1)Airlines have been known to move empty jets back and forth along routes and have reserve aircraft in place if needed.

2)Aircraft do require annual maintenance and thus have to return to their home hub as other aircraft come in other move out.

3)In the military I know that once a plane completes maintenance it is taken out on a over land and over water, functional check flight to ensure it is safe and clear for duty, please enlighten me if this happens in among airlines.

I think B.A. took the chickensh*t way out and Obermann like chump he is pounced.

How would flying with a full plane have lessened the co2 emissions?

Well, it WOULD help the environment if they took the planes apart and shipped the pieces over here, wouldn't it?

FedEx.

Of course, let KO get stranded at Heathrow because British Airways doesn’t have enough jets available when needed and THEN let’s hear his story.........

Olbermann is a moron, but it does seem wasteful to fly a nearly empty 747 that far. Nevertheless, I’m sure that no competent airline company would do it unless it had good reason. They *are* paying for the fuel, after all.

Well, it’s not like there is anything important going on in the world right now, so Olberman might as well froth at the mouth about this vital national issue.

The Olberdork has a point - from now on, whenever BA thinks they need to move a 747 across the Atlantic without passengers, let them put it on a barge and tow it a 2-3 knots with a sailing ship...... and if they think taking weeks to re-position one 747 is not efficient, why do we need airlines and jet aircraft anyway??

Since Overbite doesn’t want to name our true enemy, IslamOfascism, he has to make one up, British Airways.
If this doesn’t tell what Maroons the left is, nothing will.

B.A We demnd that You sue Obermann’s butt off over this!! Every airline has to reposition it’s hardware. The plane is not empty when it is fliing hundreds of tons of cargo. Sue Obermann, he is a trash merchant and send a message to GE, “Cut the CRAP and Lies!!!” and take responsibility for your disgusting anti-American NBC subsididiary!

Olberman is a sad joke. He failed as a sports “reporter” in L.A. and somehow stumbled into his current assignment on one of the least watched “news” shows on cable.

I'm surprised Olbermann didn't understand instinctively this airline practice.

After all, it's called "dead-heading".

What’s up, TBM...

Props first for taking care of us as a member of America’s finest...we owe you a debt we can never repay.

Second, while not doubting your recounting of Overbite, my policy on watching his show consists of three words:

“Aw, haaaaaaaayyyyyyeeeeelll no!”

I remember that fool when he was a sportscaster here locally in Los Angeles, on KCBS-2...as slimey a pr*ck then as now.
