I need a big boiling pot like that! How much does an old beer keg cost anyway? Are they stainless or alumninum?
Stainless. I have been warned to never allow aluminum to touch beer. It is supposed to do bad things to the beer, such as a laxative effect on the drinkers.
Experienced brewers, is this an old wive's tale?
