GRASS VALLEY

A Grass Valley man on trial for murder says he felt possessed while he strangled his wife and shot her three times with a nail gun.

Richard Williams says he felt like he was on autopilot during the killing in October 2005.

Williams told jurors he had stopped taking his antidepressant medication when he shot his wife, then himself with the nail gun. Williams wrote a suicide note before trying to kill himself.

He cried as he described shooting the first nail into his wife. But he otherwise showed little emotion during Friday's testimony.

Nevada County prosecutors say Williams planned the slaying weeks in advance.

The case is being tried in Napa County because there was too much media coverage in Nevada County.

apparently, the guy didn’t read the instructions with his prescription which clearly states that if you stop taking your anti-depressants you risk becoming homicidal or suicidal. Its not exactly news. Its on the list of side effects on all anti-depressants. The most dangerous times are when you start and when you stop.

murdered her boss because she used a racial slur toward her.

Her latest excuse is "pot smoke".

"Williams, why are you late for work this morning?"

"Sorry, boss, but I was nailing my wife. It won't happen again, I promise."

Time to stretch...I'm bored.

I'm a board stretcher.

I got hammered last night and now I'm finished.
