Lieberman: I might vote for a Republican presidental candidate
Fox News

Sen. Joe Lieberman just now on Fox said he might vote for the Republican presidential candidate because the Democrats have lost sight of reality. He sees the Democrats 'more worried about and angry at President Bush than the terrorists who want to kill us.' (paraphrased).
Heads are explodin' on the Left now.

Liebermann needs to caucus with the Republicans. He would turn all the Senate committee chairs over to the GOP if he did that.

“Sen. Joe Lieberman just now on Fox said he might vote for the Republican presidential candidate “
Even Ron Paul doesn’t do that.

That would not surprise me in the least.
Joe does know that the dems are a bunch of sell outs, and regardless of his other “short comings” he one of the most outspoken advocates on the WOT.

Lieberman could do better if he would caucus with the Republicans giving them the majority.

I like Lieberman, for the most part. He's pretty rational on most issues. I've met him a few times, the most recently this past Sunday. He was at the Waterbury (CT) Democratic Party rally prior to Election Day. He and our mayor ore good buddies, from back in the day when Lieberman was CT AG and the mayor was an assistant AG.
In fact, Lieberman received probably his strongest support from this area when he won reelection last year. It's a heavily Democratic, but also, for all intents and purposes, highly Conservative area.

Here he goes again! Conning the electorate by trying to play both ends against the middle to appease the largest voting base possible. He’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

On a related note, Ron Paul says he may vote for a Democrat:
QUESTIONER: “Congressman, if you were not running, right now, for office, is there a current candidate that you would identify with most and who would you vote for yourself?”
Ron Paul: “... on the Democratic side, it just happens that Dennis Kucinich is a good friend of mine”
Heads are exploding everywhere..

If I heard correctly he said this week that he did not vote Republican in 2004, 2000, 1996 and then the interviewer ran out of time.

$50 bucks says its Romney. He's not talking about the primaries. He said the Republican Presidential nominee. Who ever it turns out to be.

I thought Lieberman sold his soul to the devil when he ran as Gore’s VP. But somehow he’s regained it. Amazing.
To: mainerforglobalwarming
Really interesting study on how Gore vs Lieberman handled the 2000 defeat. Gore got fat and went nuts. Joe L went back to work. I’d bet Lieberman was embarrassed by his association with Gore and his caving to his 2000 campaign handlers.

Liebermann needs to caucus with the Republicans. He would turn all the Senate committee chairs over to the GOP if he did that. That's right. And if he wanted to be Chairman of the Armed Services Committee I wouldn't be opposed.
