
In a way your post #11 is very instructive. It shows two visual “lessons”...
Mr. Dog to remind folks to control their tongue and do their best to
get along with their fellow mortals. (and to remind them as Prof. Kingsfield
said on the TV version of “The Paper Chase”: “NOTHING is ‘off the record’.”
Mr. Rourke to remind people to control their intake of certain substances.
(well, at least learn to control motorized devices while “polluted” as
the folks in the U.K. say).
For Mr. Rourke, I’d also tell the kids to look at him and some of his
photos from 15-20 years ago.
And contemplate the old Roman saying: “All glory is fleeting.”

It’s why they call him DOG...
