What a fraud. Either that or a senile old man. What kind of conservative religious leader endorses a pro-abort and pro-gay candidate?

I’ve never trusted Robertson- while this seems amazing even for him- I’m sure he’s got an angle.

Does he still have real influence?

Yeah, talk about “pooping” where you sleep. I find it difficult to believe that they believe they can still sway a large majority of the evangelical vote. As a non-denominational evangelical myself, and the rise of the ND mega-churches, the masses are not alligned to listen to one or two people. The endorsement is simply a kickforward that would result in a position in the administration later.

The GOP base needs to stop eating its own. Be for a candidate in the primary. Be FOR your guy (women) but stop the constant BS attacks on others within the party.

We are a party of ideas (a nation of ideas).

Rudy is not my top choice at this time. Though I very much like and support his position on the WOT/Iraq. Which is staying the course and taking the fight to our enemies. I like that Rudy will take it to the DEMs and MSM on a number of issues. He will not sit back and take it.

His abortion stance and his police state mindset (to a degree) I don't like all that much.

With that said, I would support the man if he wins our nomination, without question.

Hillary will raise your taxes. Rudy will lower them. Hillary is a socialist. Rudy is a capitalist. Hillary will leave Iraq without victory. Rudy will not. Hillary's toughness can turn to "poor little me" in a heartbeat. Have never seen Rudy play that game.

A social liberal has NO choice but to raise taxes to pay for allllll that playing around. Rudy's capitalism is protection of the big capitalist, and he is NOT opposed to profiteering off slave labor illegally. Not a dime's worth of difference in the two of them, both wear dresses.

Oh the difference is that Rudy is running a positive campaign, now that requires him to be the GOP Big liberal Tent winner.

I agree with you. I will not vote for Rudy in the primary, but should this democrat in republican drag get the nomination, I would rather vote for it than anything the left is sending up.

Don’t ask me. I put it in breaking news but I guess the moderator didn’t agree and moved it to chat.

Pat Robertson has never been my model.

This is just another substantiation.

One would think the response would be more balanced.

I would hope your comment is in the jest of sarcasm as Pat does NOT embody Christianity and those who are true to their Maker know Robertson’s position is of no great significance to their faith.

The GOP base needs to stop eating its own.

I am a Conservative...and could care less about the liberal wing of the Republican party. RINO’s are not in MY party.

I know a lot of people who lived in NYC during Rudy's tenure as mayor. Not one complains that he raised their taxes. I would call that evidence against your hypothesis.

Methinks you are so biased against Rudy that you are just not being objective. The man has a record. Look at it and see if the net effect was "tax increases to pay for alll that playing around [whatever that means]" He privatized government functions that Hillary would never let go, so I am not clear at all what you are talking about.

Not a dime's worth of difference in the two of them, both wear dresses.

Oh puh-leeze. Don't you have a sense of humor?

Moving this thread to chat was one of the more ridiculous moves I’ve seen here in a while. I don’t understand the thinking behind it one little bit. This is news. Significant news... if only because it reveals the kind of charlatan Robertson really is.
