Note that for launch angles greater than 45 degrees, the circular arc produced by your GIF is a very poor approximation of a parabolic trajectory. It looks more like the trajectory of a cruise missile. Please note the following equation to correct your accurate arc length: arcLength = (pi * chord * angle)/(180 * sin(angle)) ;-D
