rapid fire glitch in the crowd noise that lasted several seconds (imagine a stuck record, but much faster). The announcers talked normal through that glitch, so I don’t think it was a problem with the broadcast.

I remember that now, at the time it reminded me of what happens when a CD gets stuck. Really weird.

Now that you mention that, my husband and I were watching on the Direct TV, and we both noticed it and thought it was our dish.
