That was my feeling too, but the French fellow was expressing his real opinion, was interested in what I had to say and was nice enough. He was trying to get a handle on what Americans think. I also gave him a little more room than the American conspiracy theorist who asked me the same questions a week ago because the French guy has been crippled by virulently anti-American (not that we don’t have enough of our own) French media bias .
In the past I had got to the point about 100 eye witnesses and didn’t need to search out many more details, especially since I have never heard of any of those witnesses saying that they were paid by George Bush to make their statements. Nor have any of their divorced spouse’s come forward to admit how they both spent the cash.
However, I didn’t want to spend three hours ferreting out the details. All the posts are helpful.
