First Kiss

Their eyes meet there in full moon light, something not so rare
But this night something’s different here, and there’s magic in the air.
“Is the summer breeze always this alive?” she softly wonders there,
Something in his eyes speak to her soul, a challenge and a dare
that keeps her from moving.

There under the spreading cherry tree, beneath the warm moonlight,
He looks into those blue-grey eyes, stormy, warm and bright,
Here at the place where it all began, where he woke up to the sight
Of these two eyes that needed him to help her make things right,
To be her protector.

A touch, a sigh, the moment comes when there’s no turning back
As midnight dawns a lover’s light to chase away the black —
The sounds, the scents, the moonlight all join in one attack
To bind the fears that held them in a lonely loveless track
Of self-imposed angst.

Spinning, spinning round them as soft as lover’s sigh
Auras raised by passion reach out to kiss the sky
A brush of lips, electric fire make red and pink sparks fly
Bright fireworks build of love and need that sparkle in the eye
Of those who have the sight to see.

Nice, visual, and intimate! You have a nice combination working here, I like this a lot.
