FYI, technically it doesn't matter; whether you have a 720p, 1080i, or 1080P television, any and all of those televisions will take 1080i content and scale it to the TV's resolution - but as you probably know that already, what's your point?

Talking about quality of the screens. (color depth, contrast ratio, dark area gradation, etc) I was asked which I’d prefer.

I’d rather take one of the prior generation 1080i DLPs over the cheapest 1080P LCDs we’ll see this Xmas season.

I’m personally holding out for the Samsung LN-T4071F 40” LCD TV , hoping it falls below $1500 before the super bowl.
