Nearly every person elected as president of the United States since then and nearly every opponent has belonged to a secretive, globalism-oriented organization known as the Council Foreign Relations.
Some presidents and their challengers have belonged to additional clubs of internationalists the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission. Running mates, too, more often than not have had ties to the groups.
That the groups exert enormous influence on public policy is indisputable. What is disputed is whether such groups are, as adherents and members argue, just discussion forums for movers and shakers, or, as critics have long alleged, secret societies shaping a new world order from behind the scenes. On that last point at least, no one could challenge the critics: All these groups operate in considerable secrecy, away from the scrutiny of the American public.
Regardless of how one characterizes them, the fact that virtually all presidents belong to the same secret clubs prompts the author of a new book to wonder if the 2008 election will also be a contest between globalist insiders. Judging from the list of frontrunners of each party, Daniel Estulin, author of "The True Story of the Bilderberg Group," may be on to something.
According to a variety of sources, the following presidential candidates are either members of one of the groups or have strong ties: Hillary Rodham Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, John McCain, John Edwards, Fred Thompson, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson.
Mike Huckabee, though not a member, spoke to the CFR in September. Since then, his political star has risen to the point that he has become a top-tier candidate.
So often throughout recent history it has been the case.

Is there any difference between being boo'd by NYC police and firefighters or being cheered? Is there a difference between how both view the war on terror? Is there a difference between how both view the 2nd Amendment? Is there a difference between how both view health care? Is there a difference between how both view immigration and giving illegals government documents? Is there a difference between how both would take from one group and give to another?
YES! There is a HUGE difference. Anyone who says there isn't a difference, has fooled themselves.
“Booed or cheered by firefighters and police”
Hillary was booed, there have been several 9/11 firefighters step forward to dispute Rudy’s role during 9/11.
“Is there a difference in the way they view the war on terror?”
I think so, one for Rudy.
“Is there a difference..second amendment”
No, Rudy actually sued firearms makers and sued successfully to have the line item veto overturned as well as making NYC a sanctuary city.
“Is there a difference between taking from one group and giving to another”
Rudy has yet to sign the no tax increase pledge.
Is there a differnce between Rudy and Hildebeast on things like Abortion, Gay (right to) Marriage, judicial philosophy, appointments to positions, for Hsue, there is a Kerik.
Check out the memberships of these organizations and there is little doubt who makes the policies that guide this country and the world.
How you must miss the news ping
Some of those policies are good (WOT,economy) while, the open borders, globalist mentality will eventually be the ruin of this country. Throw in the pro-abortion, pro-gay, gun grabbing aspects and watch how fast we sink.
Actually the Stonecutters control the world. They control the English Pound, they keep the metric system down, yadda yadda.
I don't care what gays do. Actually, the more they 'do' ... the more pathetic they become, and already starting to get public backlash.
Rudy is personally against abortion, thinks it is an individual state issue, and on record wanting laws against partial-birth abortion, whereas, daBEAST wants federal law to allow all abortions without any restrictions whatsoever.
There are major differences between the two on most issues. The more simple question to ask,
"Between Rudy and daBEAST, which issue is exactly agreed upon?"
And also folks like Dick Cheney, Jeanne Kirkpatrick, and John Bolton.
The CFR bogeyman is a fairy-tale, and anyone who believes that they're some "secret society" bent on ruling the world (or even a part of it) is making a fool of themselves.
Hence, I'm not surprised this wound up in WND.
None of Rudy's associates, to my knowledge at least, have ended up dead when they became inconvenient!
“None of Rudy’s associates, to my knowledge at least,”
“to my knowledge”
The caveat speaks volumes...now that is funny...lol!
As long as U.S. politics remains status quo, that problem will not go away. Two proposed cures: eliminate poltical "careers" with strict term limits, and require that all political contribtions be anonymous (you can't sell influence if you don't know who is buying). After the fair tax is passed, use the remaining shell of the IRS to collect and distribute the donated funds.
I can dream, can't I?
Apparently he did change his position. He was on Glenn Beck radio show and said he is against partial-birth abortions.
“Rudy was consistantly said he supports the 2nd Amendment and that each state and local governments should have their own laws that work for them, not laws imposed by the federal government, whereas, daBEAST wants federal total control. BIG difference.”
Not really, Rudy tried to sue firearms makers out of existence, Hillary wants to regulate them out of existence, no difference at all as they both wind up at the same place.
“I don’t care what gays do. Actually, the more they ‘do’ ... the more pathetic they become, and already starting to get public backlash.”
So when Rudy changes “Don’t ask, don’t tell” and homosexuality is granted legitimacy, there will be no protest and nothing that can be done, the dye is cast then.
No thanks, better to keep that camel’s nose out of the tent in the first place.
And can you honestly say that Hildebeast won’t do the same thing?
“Rudy is personally against abortion, thinks it is an individual state issue, and on record wanting laws against partial-birth abortion, whereas, daBEAST wants federal law to allow all abortions without any restrictions whatsoever.”
Revisionism is never pretty, you should know better. Rudy is the same man who stated that he would give his own daughter money for an abortion, not even the Hildebeast has went that far, how much more “Innayourface” would you need before the truth becomes apparent?
The only difference between the two is the War on Terror, if that is your issue, then by all means, vote Rudy, for myself, I do not plan on winning the War on Terror and losing my country at the same time.
“When we see a lot of framed timbers, different portions of which we know have been gotten out at different times and places, and by different workmen... and when we see those timbers joined together, and see that they exactly make the frame of a house or a mill, all the tenons and mortises exactly fitting, and all the lengths and proportions of the different pieces exactly adapted to their respective places, and not a piece too many or too few... in such a case we find, it impossible not to believe that... all understood one another from the beginning, and all worked upon a common plan or draft, drawn up before the first blow was struck.” Abraham Lincoln, deducing from objective evidence the blueprint of a political plot to save the institution of slavery.
Exactly Man50D, it takes some serious mental gymnastics to support Rudy and remain pro life and pro family and pro 2nd amendment, to much for me at least.
BTW, Abortion on Demand is considered a “Human Right” in Euroland and by the UN..hmm....
