Tiger cubs are the cutest in the kitty family. Owing to their massive growth patterns, the cubs have big, wide, padded paws, an extra-loose coat, and proportionally larger eyes, all going in to make for a cuteness overkill.

:^)

Not for too long, though:

No thanks I will stick to cats fo the local shelter. I go to feline overlords that way.

Me too. While these exotic cats are beautiful and part of me wants one, there are way too many beautiful animals, cats and dogs waiting for good homes. Too many are put down every day in shelters.

If I had $25,000 USD burning a whole in my pocket…(ha, ha, I wish) I think I’d get a lot of street cred from the feline overlords by spending $20 to adopt a kitty from a shelter (actually letting a kitty adopt me :),) and donating the $24,980 balance to a no-kill shelter.

Willie the Wonder Cat, one of my three overlords, agrees.

The Ashera is billed as the world's "largest, rarest and most exotic" domestic cat.

And it still drinks from the toilet.

That first photo looks exactly like our Bob. He’s no where near 30 pounds... more like 18 but his coloring and eyes are exactly the same. He’s part desert lynx.

No thanks. I’ve already been bitten by a “Maine Coon Cat”.

That’s how Maine Coons say they like you.

We have a six month old Maine Coon/Persian mix. He’s almost as big as our 17 year old cat and growing fast...

Man, I dunno. Neither did Ogden Nash:

prepare to say ouch
better yet, if called by a panther

You (and everyone else) need to see this video also!

(I also tested the link to this video and it still works fine)

GREAT picture of the big cat!  Wow...what a hug!   :-)

Beautiful cat.

I'm delighted that you think so....it's easy to see why they were so revered by the ancient Egyptians....utterly regal in affect and demeanor   :-)

Because of its exotic heritage, however, it does prefer a heated bed.

And is well equipped to insist upon it.

$25,000 for a super-sized kitty.

Something that will live just as long and provide considerably more companionship and comfort than a used Hummvee at the same price.....and is far more exclusive and rare than a Hummer as well   :-)
