The agreement includes a cash payment from Lionel to MTH and an agreement on future technology uses, but the companies agreed not to reveal details.

Future technology? For toy trains?

Didn't that technology peak around the time Jaws came out on Betamax?

I mean, seriously.

Well, seriously, “toy” trains are pretty big business. When collectors pay $300-$2,000 for a “toy” locomotive, that’s fairly substantial competition. I know. I have a bumper sticker that says, “Pray for me, my husband is a model railroader”. It’s big money and not really “toys” at all.
