Another typical day in
el Mexico norte NW Arkansas. these people are responsible for the majority of the serious sex crimes against children here. The article says he's a LEGAL alien, but I'd bet he didn't start that way...or am I being too cynical? Even if his presence here is legitimate, I think this crime should revoke that status and he should be deported as soon as he serves the whole year he'll probably serve.
< /sarcasm > Sadly, people serve more time here for producing marijuana and cruelty to animals than for raping children.

It is pretty nice today. I can go out in a tank top without freezing. And there are STILL hummingbirds! We have had a couple of nights of freezing temperatures. I can't believe there are still any around.
I'm dogsitting again this week. I could not do a dog on a regular basis with my schedule, even if I were inclined to do so. I guess I was just born to be more of a cat/horse/bird lady.

What a strange year for college foosball.I dunno. It looks pretty routine to me. An SEC team ranked #1, Ohio State choking near the season's end, Michigan losing once again to that same Ohio State.
Are you going to whine for another rematch this year?
But it's not all bad news. After today's loss, you can truthfully claim, "We're not number 23!"

GOOD MORNING ALL
On this fine Sunday morning off you go to church to confess your manifold sins and wickednesses. You know to whom that applies.

A Church in Malta
To those who are pure of heart...

A walk among the Rhododendrons.

I guess I’m not pure of heart. I see neither the Church, nor the Rhododendrons...

I knew it would come as a surprise to you. But I visited such places as a tourist, so I am completely au fait with the general layout. :)

When I was growing up on a farm in Iowa, the standard rule concerning edible livestock was that any critter, that has a name, is safe from becoming Sunday dinner.
My sister and I had a pet turkey named “Tom” (how original...hey, we were kids) that we raised from a ‘chick’ and he was imprinted with the image of us being his mom.
He followed us around constantly like a spare shadow and always came out to meet us, getting off the school bus each afternoon. He’d come out and fan out his feathers and strut around a bit. It was his main, possibly only, talent.
In early November, word leaked out to us that he was going to be the main course for Thanksgiving dinner. The old rule had been over-ridden and Tom was about to be “axed” literally.
Come the day before Thanksgiving, we all dreaded what was about to happen and nobody would volunteer to be his executioner. Just thinking about it spread through the family to where we were all nearly in tears.
Happy ending:
We couldn’t bear to kill Tom for dinner, so we ate the dog.

You should have given your dog a name - just an oversight I assume. :)

That’s a huge beautiful church for such a small island.
Are the rhodos on Malta, too? Remings me of the Rhodos at Port Meirion in Wales.
