Mornin’ Darks. Wisdom teeth? Yowie. I hear that’s rough. I wouldn’t know. I never got any. Weird, eh? But molars are bad enough.

Wasn’t so bad, actually.
They juiced me on laughing gas, IV sedation, and novocaine.
She said she was done, and that I could ‘relax’ some.
So I stood up.
They asked me how I was standing.
My response was “I dunno.”
That Thursday morning, a co-worker told me that I wasn’t getting it done.
So on Monday I showed her the teeth..

At least Florida has scenery, water and attractionsAnd all of the evacuees who flee Michigan, otherwise known as the Dismal State.
To: sweetliberty; Cardhu
My co-worker’s response was about the same as everyone’s response to that guy.
Especially when I held up the wisdom teeth..

"And all of the evacuees who flee Michigan, otherwise known as the Dismal State." Catpuppy, you are so brutally unfair to Sharkeyland dwellers. Are you forgetting that the effect of permafrost on their brains has created for many of them an uncanny aptitude for adaptive delusions....to the point that they actually ENJOY the tundra beaches? We should all be so gifted at displacing ourselves from painful realities in times of trouble.

If the Swamp Fox didn’t act as a buffer for the weather, the Buckeyes wouldn’t be the chipper people they are.

uncanny aptitude for adaptive delusionsYou are right, of course. As nully has pointed out, Michiganders have developed a sickly ashen coloration that enables them to remain undetected during the eleven months of blizzards (the camouflage does fail, however, when the one month of "summer" allows the rusting factories and abandoned houses to show through the gray and drifted snow).
Now you have identified yet another instance where Michiganders have adapted in ways no rational person could have foreseen.
To: Darksheare
Truer words were never spoken ...
To: catpuppy
Speaking as a displaced Buckeye of course.
