Your problem here is the Pats defense is better than that. Wilfolk, Junior and Bruschi rule the middle as the Cowboys,a running team, found out.
I don’t care who you are you can’t cover Welker across the middle the whole game and then you still have Watson who is better than nmst TE’s in the league namely Witten and Clark.
Miami doubled Moss and he still caught to 40 yard passes in the end zone.
Problem 2, colts don’t have but one good CB anyway.
If you give a QB 5 seconds to throw the ball even 7 DBs cannot cover everyone long enough not to leave someone open. The key to beating the Pats is pass rush and jumping the routes. If you cannot force Brady (or any QB really) to throw the ball before he’s ready then you are going to give up plays.
Actually, Dallas had some good runs against the Pats and I would expect that Indy can as well with Seymour out.
You can't be series. The Cowboys, a running team? The Cowboys ran well against the Pats in limited attempts. They just got so far behind that they had to play catch up. But they are clearly a pass first offense.
Watson who is better than nmst TEs in the league namely Witten and Clark.
Again, you cannot be series. Watson is not even in the same league as Witten. And no one fears him.
Miami doubled Moss and he still caught to 40 yard passes in the end zone.
Yeah I saw what Miami was running out there to dbl team Mss. It was pathetic, and Moss pushed off on the second TD in the end zone. Should have been called. The Cowboys have a 6-5" safety that they can use on a dbl team with all available parts.
But even so, I'm not saying that the Cowboys can beat the Pats right now, I'm asserting that the Colts can and will soon.
