I’m starting to think that sitting Ortiz in Colorado would be the best move right now: a difficult call for an AL manager planning for NL rules baseball. He’s not hitting as well as Youk or Lowell, and with his knee hurting, the Sox would suffer from his lack of speed and the loss of defense from either of the other two.
