Funny, the ugliest, most poorly dressed and least worldly people are in Philly.....
Sounds like the Northern caricature of southern hicks.....
Of course, Atlanta ranked high with the beautiful people....
Now the truth is out, Yankee’s are the ugliest.....

I travel on business to and through PHL often. The city streets are filthy. The people the most rude of anywhere I travel and the service low. The people in downtown (at least) slovenly. Murder rate is high
This reminds me of NYC in the 1970's before Rudy.

Bunch of easterners on this thread. Doncha know that Seattle has the ugliest people on earth, especially women, and they’re proud of it. One look at the thousand plus commuters on the Seattle ferry and you’d swear you were on a boat from Outer Scruffistan; the Refugee Look is really big here.
I once picked up a pretty blonde friend from Dallas at SeaTac airport. She came down the stairs with nicely done hair, lipstick, a beautifully fitted black jacket with big yellow embroidered flowers and a smile on her face. Every woman in the terminal turned around and hissed at her. They were all dressed like aforementioned refugees, wearing no makeup, nothing pretty or colorful, and their hair was uniformly unisex style, going gray naturally, no henna, no highlights, no help whatsoever. I swear they didn’t wear bras, only cool cotton vestees to enhance flatness. These were random women, all sporting the Seattle look.
So beware!

LOL...Nor the Lexington Market bus stop on Howard St. No need for freak shows to visit Baltimore. One rolls by on the light rail about every 20 minutes.

Love it. Bullying of an entire city based on the quality of appearance. I love how the current obesity obessession of the media and healthcare community has made it ok to target the obese. God help us if they turn on bald guys and make them pariahs.

Being from KC, I completely back your statement on them not being wordly.

As much as I dislike the Eagles, their ladies would seem to buck that trend. As evidence, I submit this:

Are you done swooning?
Philly is coming up just fine. Our housing market is stable, money is being poured all over the city in improvements... University City looks great, Northern Liberties looks great... there is always lots to do and see!
It’s a great time to live here!

25 CITIES is hardly a representative sample of all Americans. I think a case could probably be made for about anywhere, if you looked in the right....or, should I say, wrong...places.

I lived in the Lehigh Valley during the late 80’s and early 90’s. I have been to Hazleton numerous times. Hirsute people everywhere.
