Ditto that...AVG...have had it for just 2 or 3 months now, and it's great, and unlike some other stuff that disturbs this computer lightweight, there are no "side effects" that I've detected.

I also (upon good advice) took on another freebie called Advanced Windows Care 2 --- also, so far so good.

I agree. AVG is great and free.
