Before she became a professional lesbian and was just a comedian, she WAS funny, and very likable. Same with Paula Poundstone. Once they outed and their gayness became their identity, their funniness evaporated.
I agree with you whole-heartedly. I used to watch Evening at the Improv every nite and they were very funny. I adored Paula Poundstone before she started using her bully pulpit. Heck, even Roseanne Barr and Rosie O’Donnell were funny at one time!
