I believe she was brain dead. She never maintained eye contact for more than five seconds over the course of years. She never looked at people as they entered or left her room. She suffered a major brain injury and it killed her higher brain functions. Her heart pumped blood, she could breath on her own, her brain fired off random muscle movements on occassion, and that's about it folks.
Before all you so called "Christians" rush off to burn him at the stake. He was at her side for three years and got a nursing degree to understand what was going on with Terri. Then and only then, he realized there was no hope for her.
He moved on. I suggest you all do the same.

And you know this how? Those random muscle movements certainly came at inconvenient times, like when she responded to her mother’s voice. If she was “brain dead” which indicates the absence of brain function, she’d have been on a respirator to breath, fed with a tube, and be totally unaware of her surroundings. All of which is blown out of the water by the videos. Oh and the witness statements of the nurses which were conveniently IGNORED by her “loving” husband.
If he simply wanted to move on with his life why could he not have allowed her family to care for her they were willing and able too. How could he (as he states in his own book) eat pizza in her room as she starved to death. How could he and his brother laugh as Rev. Jackson comforted her father and he learned of Terri’s passing. How could he prevent his family from even trying to feed her naturally after the feeding tube was removed. This man is pure evil and if you do not believe - I suggest that you check out http://www.michaelschiavo.org to see the affidavid of one of Terri’s nurses, the statements of Mr. Schievo’s past girlfriends, and the statements that he himself made in his book.
You know I certainly hope that his heart was in the right place then. I don't know because only God knows hearts. But I also know that my Lord and Savior said, "Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to Me." I believe Terri is just who Jesus was speaking of.
I pray that Michael Schiavo has a relationship with the Lord. Only God knows that. "By their fruits you shall know them."

He moved on right after he received the jury award from his lawsuit on behalf of his beloved wife. As Church lady would say, "How conveeeeeenient."
Truly, he moved on by starting a family with another woman, but refusing to divorce Terri. I hardly call that moving on in the sense you are suggesting. Unless you mean for us to stop caring, which is obviously what he did. Because as a Christian (no scare quotes, I know that I am saved by the blood of Christ), the day I stop caring for the sick, the helpless, and the defenseless, is the day I stand in direct disobedience of God. And I am just not willing to go there.

You call murdering her, “moving on”??? Puh-lease! WHY couldn’t he have let her parents care for her, or why couldn’t he have divorced her??? He wasn’t about “moving on”, he was about making sure she would be killed so she could NEVER tell what happened to her that night! Why don’t YOU look at some of those videos? Afraid that you’d find out she was really a human being?? Hmmmmm? AND, that she WASN’T “brain dead”? I dare you to watch the one I posted in #23, and the same video was posted in #34. THEN, come back and tell us that she deserved to be murdered!

I think you forgot something. She was in this state for 15 years. During that time she was fed and hydrated. How was anyone able to get her through a simple doorway? Do you have any idea how much food and hydration she was given? Do you know how much space that would take up if one was simply to stock it? If her body was not using the food and hydration, they would have had to break down walls to take her to the hospital. Also, they would have needed a very heavy lifting plane to move her in.
That simply did not happen because her body was using all of that hydration and food.
You are quite simply WRONG and your statements are either based on your own misunderstanding or a willful distortion of fact.
Before you embarrass yourself further, I suggest a review of the huge amount of facts developed in this case and summarized in the Terri Dailies for the time since her death and before. Had you done so already, you would have realized you are in the company only of the far left and the death enthusiasts echoing your own words, MoveOn.
You may wish to follow the advice yourself lest you be embarrassed further.
