DUH! Now I feel like a dork - I suppose I should have read what it was a picture of. Well, it’s about the SIZE of his house!!
Those are actually hay bales to the left in the distance and on the right are two horses. Don't think there are any deer in that picture.
Thanks! I love it here on the banks of the Rogue. I just watched a bunch of salmon head upstream and in the summertime I see ospreys, egrets, herons and river otters in the Rogue. The Freeper Oregon Rancher lives on the Rogue, too, about five miles downstream, and he describes watching the otters play near his deck on the Rogue!
I agree, Colorado is SO beautiful!
I’ve lived everywhere in the West, from Alaska to Montana to North Idaho to Nevada to California to Oregon, to Washington, and in my opinion the two most beautiful states in the Lower 48 are Montana and Colorado, and I sure hope you get to move there one day!
It sure breaks my heart to see the one-time conservative states of Montana and Colorado becoming liberal cesspools, though...
