Squirrel’s not bad, actually. It takes a lot of work to get full eating squirrel, however.

You have to shoot, trap or catch a couple of dozen, and then it's fine.

Best way to do this, though, is to simply serve fried squirrel as a side-dish with the main meal (something with pork loin, potatoes, greens for example).
