almost forgot to tell you all about a video I saw on Showbiz tonite on, I think, Sunday nite - it was ANS at the VHI awards.
Behind her and to her left was LB - you can see him kinda comb his fingers thru the right side of his hair, then he ducks out of sight behind ANS (but he is a little distance behind her)
Then he pops up, and as ANS moves to the right, he also moves, so he ends up shoulder to shoulder with a dark-haired behind ANS - as ANS moves, so he moves. When he can’t move anymore, he goes to blow a bubble with the gum he’s chewing - you can see his tongue pushing the gum out, and then, just before blowing a bubble, he pulls the gum back in, and then gets this big guilty grin on his face - it’s kinda obvious that he knew he ‘stole’ the moment
For someone who’s claimed prior to Anna’s death that he always wanted to be in the background, it struck me as immediately blatant attention-grabbing.
I’ve seen cuts of ANS at the VHI awards, but never saw this particular part of the tapes.
I wish Showbiz had links to their nightly videos so I could link to show you what I saw

Gibson a “likely” witness

When asked on Monday night if he had ever received a gift from the late Anna Nicole Smith, Shane Gibson, the Labour and Immigration Minister accused of fast-tracking Smith’s residency said: “I honestly can’t remember.”
His memory lapse came during a specially televised event the Christie administration’s top crisis managers staged in response to romantically suggestive and potentially evidential photographs of the Minister and Smith, published in Monday’s Tribune. Mr Gibson also offered no explanation for another published photograph in which he appears to be showing off the contents of a gift box, while standing near Ms Smith.
But Gibson might have to answer even tougher questions in a little more than a month. Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez told The Guardian on Thursday that the minister will “most likely” be called to testify in a coroner’s inquest into the death of Anna Nicole’s 20-year-old son, Daniel.
“Most likely he will [be called],” Gomez said, “From press reports, he was up there to the hospital around the time that Daniel would have been visiting. So, anyone who would have seen [Daniel] alive at the hospital will be called as a witness.”

Wayne Munroe, the attorney Who Will Represent Daniel’s Estate
during the March 26 inquiry, and who was Anna Nicole’s lawyer before her sudden death in Florida last week, does not believe Gibson was ever at the hospital while Daniel visited, prior to his death.
Conceding that some of the photographs published in The Tribune show Gibson visiting Smith’s hospital room on September 9 – the date Daniel flew to The Bahamas – Munroe said the time of the Gibson’s visit excludes the minister from any encounter with Daniel.
He said The Time Indicators of the Original Digital Images Of the published Photos Stored On The Laptop Computer Of...Howard K Stern,
shows that Gibson visited the hospital prior to Daniel’s arrival in The Bahamas. He added that the visitor log made by doctors and nurses who treated Smith also dismisses an encounter between Gibson and Daniel.
“It seems from looking at the photos on the hard drive and at the notes made by the doctors, the minister was not there while Daniel was there,” said Munroe. “I have serious doubts,”
Munroe is in a special position to estimate the earliest time that Daniel could have arrived at the hospital if Daniel went directly to the hospital to see his mother after flying in.
Coincidentally, the two travelled on the same American Airlines flight. Smith connected from Miami after flying from Los Angles and making a initial connection in Texas, and Munroe connected in Miami on a return trip from St Kitts.
“The flight got in later in the evening,” said Munroe, “I think it might have been the last flight American Airlines had out of Miami that day.” The published photograph of the minister visiting Smith at the hospital clearly shows daylight coming in a window in the background of the photograph.
But whether Gibson testifies or not, the inquest is likely to generate lots of attention. Nobody questions that Stern had contact with Daniel in the hours before he was discovered dead, and Stern has become a larger celebrity since Anna Nicole’s death....
