STATEMENT FROM RICHARD MILSTEIN REGARDING FEES FILED IN ANNA NICOLE
SMITH CASE

MIAMI - October 16, 2007 - “In an effort to clarify some information
currently circulating in the media, following is an overview of the
current situation. The Order entered by the Court appointing me as
guardian ad litem says that the Court will determine a reasonable
fee. We submitted our fees for the work we did, based on our standard
hourly rates. A hearing will take place in which the Court will then
determine the fees to be paid. This is the appropriate process for
the determination of fees. Interviews at this time would
not seem appropriate. I appreciate your respect and understanding.”

- Richard C. Milstein, Akerman Senterfitt

Ho’ward & Brikhead are claiming that Virgie should pay Milstein’s bill.

Virgie went to court to claim the body of her daughter - Seidlin assigned that authority to Dannielynn and appointed Milstein, as GAL to represent her.

Milstein should be paid from the funeral monies, since he was in on the scam.
