First impressions - Bains site made me laugh. Bain himself in video long ago I thought over acted and played it too much. I also found the quality (basement type)production questionable. If he is so good, why so poor? Now that he openly admits running a scam, he is good as dirt for any reason. Good people do not scam. All in the timing and right before the inquest is suspect to me.
I never enjoy too many reporters so Rita was not exception. Too hyper for me. Greta, too deceitful, Geraldo, equal to Lincoln.. he over plays everthing like a drama queen.
Never believed the nannies. I do not believe anyone could take 24 drugs every four hours and still be alive to do what the nannies claimed anna would do in their affidavit. One minute they had anna so drugged all she did was sleep, the next they have her over seeing them with an iron hand. How can anna be drugged in comas and be hovering over them listening for how they fix the baby’s bottle or food? Doesn’t jive. Can’t have it both ways and they flip flop too much in their attempt to be drastic. IF they lied for Ford Shelley, they will lie again. WHY are they hidingnow? If all they want is truth, why hide?
It isn’t Rita’s voice that bothers me, it is her rapid hyper style. Annoying to watch. So is Geraldo but I don’t skip anyone but ET to get info.
Rita vs Bain .. one more distraction from two deaths. Gee, who’s signature is that! Our hope it turned out all along was not Rita! Here the cops were and are on it.

I don’t think there is a tape of LB/HKS. I think there *probably* were gay porn tapes that ANS watched, just because it seems like she would.
I probably wouldn’t have thought that, but I remember on some mainstream TV show, either Friends or Sex and the City, or both, the girls talked several times about liking to watch gay men’s porn, so it wouldn’t be anything at all for ANS.
As far as the nannies, I haven’t gotten to watch the videos, have only read the comments through the months, so I don’t have firsthand judgment about their believability. That makes me a non-expert.
I believe the things that had witnesses, like the suicide attempts by Anna - the 48-hour coma and the swimming pool incident - and the details of the pharmacy of meds. I’m kind of wondering why there was no more talk about Dr KE, tho - as much as she was there. That’s odd.
I do believe HKS lived on cigarettes and Slim-Fast and that Anna’s nutritional life was nil. I can’t imagine either of those couch potatoes actually cooking a meal or even an entree. If they had a cook, fine - but I’ve never heard that they did, other than whatever the nannies might have done or Gerlene Gibson.
I don’t believe they ever said on a Mr Controversy tape that they - or just Nadine - had seen this LB-HKS sex tape. I’m not sure about the truth of the Dannielynn “sexy” underfeeding or the drugging of the baby - but I *could* give them the benefit of the doubt on it, as being a sometimes thing, but not constant.
There are tons more things I’d like for someone to question them about, other than just the things that they came up with. They lost a lot of credibility with me on the “mashed potatoes with peas and bacon” thing with the “death photo” incident.
That made me feel like they would just “say anything” - but that’s now that Bain and LizThompson are their handlers. The original affidavits for the inquest, done last December, probably have the most truth in them.
It doesn’t bother me in the least that Ben or Ford paid them afterwards for their time, or in advance, if it was. Rita relaying to them the InTouch offer for photos to license doesn’t bother me, either. I don’t see that as a bribe for her lawsuit.
They asked for money and she asked for proof in writing that they had told an investigator what they said they had told him. It doesn’t matter for Rita’s book, because she has the report from whoever told her - and that’s what would be presented for vetting or in court.
It’s like the testimony of first responders at a crime scene - not presented for the truth of the facts in the matter but as a firsthand witness testifying of how, when, where, some statement was made by someone.
I was very surprised to hear that Clark said Liz Thompson was in the meeting he had with the nannies back in May. And also surprised when she said she was their first attorney of record. I guess Tracy Ferguson of Callenders and Pro Pinder don’t count, for some reason.
So, I don’t really trust the word of any of them - but I don’t throw ALL of the nannies’ statements out with the bath water.

I heard rumors around she is the nannies’ 3rd attorney? who are the other two and are they still around in the background or down the road? Tracy Ferguson and Pro Pinder
Ferguson was with Callenders and was because of Ben and Ford and Horizons. Pro liked their witness statements and said he would take them on, because he was on Ben and Ford’s side of the Horizons debacle. Then he dropped them when they claimed their affidavits were incorrect.
At *that time,* the inaccuracies were just minor details, but politically related because of their statements about Shane Gibson. Most still felt they were credible at that time. I have no opinion.
i clearly stated that i was NOT transcribing, and had only caught the last 6 to 8 minutes (which contained a commercial break). I did not represent my post as a transcript in any way. The only word in quotes was 'interrogated'.
IIRC he was on a satellite not in the studio with the others. He wouldn’t be on the ‘set’ for the ending shot then.
I apologize for not being available to transcribe all of tonite's show. It was not apparent from the small part I saw, that Clark was on an up-link. I apologize for 'assuming' he was 'on set'. Again, I saw only the last 6 minutes or so. However, I think this is a small thing to take issue with.
I don’t know what show you watched plum but Clark never said he offered 5,000.00....He never said anything about upping it or 3,000.00 that I saw. And he never offered any magazine article like Rita did.
Again, i think you read my post to hastily. I did NOT say in any way that CLARK offered a magazine deal or 'upped' any deal. The sum of $5,000 was clearly mentioned on tonites' show as other posters here have also noted - that sum connected directly to CLARK.
as I made clear in my original post, the 'rita' tapes of last nite state $3,000 quite clearly and repeatedly; subsequent to that, tapes demonstrate Rita's initial offer was $1,000 for the nannies' epxenses to fly to the USA. This was 'upped' to $3,000, an interview for controversy tv, and a bonus for Bain, i.e, a magazine cover - all for expenses related to preparation of the affidavit, not to provide 'coerced' testimony.
To my recollection of the last 6 minutes, Clark mentioned the dollar amount, not Thompson, and said after he got there, they pressured him for much more, and that is when he high-tailed it out of there. If there was more said, before the last six minutes, I would have no way of knowing. If I am recalling incorrectly, once again, I apologize to you. I will give my best effort to locating an 'official' transcript and will post it.
IMO It's obvious there were conversations before he went. If he had not expected to pay nanny 'expenses', he would not have wasted his time - he would not have gone at all. IMO Just as Rita did, Clark went there expecting one thing and once he got there extortion allegedly was put in play by Thompson/Bain/Nannies - that is why he left.
Again, I was NOT transcribing, and I think your criticism is misplaced. It would be unfortunate to see hasty personally-directed challenges derail this board as it has on so many others. sorry your fingers are flaring up again RTE - have you tried plain ole tincture of iodine? I spoke with a doctor recently on the topic of wheeping wound care, and he said that neosporin, being a petroleum based product (vasaline base, basically) can tend to keep a wound ‘wet’ - and actually contribute to bacterial growth of a covered (gauzed/gloved) wound. There is also a very cheap OTC powder for soaking solution called DOMEBORO -aluminum acetate - (a Bayer product) excellent for drying open sores IMO

Hee hee, that’s pretty much what I just wrote earlier. Neosporin was incubating the germs and making it worse and I use Burow’s solution (Domeboro) for soaking. Plus a few 1000 more words of self-pity, lol. It is making me miserable.
I do wish the ointment would’ve worked, tho, because it was the only thing that kept my worst finger flexible enough to bend and kind of use. Otherwise, it’s *shooting pains* when touched in any way.

Oh yes, that would be Don Clark...I haven’t been paying close attention for a while and I’d forgotten his name, but I couldn’t agree more....imo he is an impecible witness and your summation of the Geraldo show was spot on. I have such a difficult time watching Geraldo. I’m very conflicted about him. He’s doing an excellent job on his coverage of Anna these days, but I am absolutely sickened by his support for illegal immigration. O/T, but it’s just a wierd situation I find myself in when watching him ;)

Really? I don’t know that much about them, but I didn’t get the impression they were lying at the time when they did that radio show. I get the impression they’re lawyer’s been advising them and they are holding out now because of the $$ or something. But remember, I haven’t been following the case nearly as closely as you all have been.
Are you one of a few who feel that way about them or do most here feel the same way?

the question I’d like answered, tho, is, why did the trust fund only have $750K funded thru it? it seems quite small considering that the funeral was sold for at least a few mil (allegedly) - why didn’t DL get ALL of it? and since when, does a minor child, get saddled with funeral expenses? isn’t that the responsbility of her S/O , from his OWN pocket, since it was HKS and HIS ‘friends’ that planned such an ostentatious funeral?
