Always know where your dog is when you start your car or truck.
Deserves repeating!
I backed up over one of our dog’s heads three years or so ago. Fortunately, at the time I was driving a Avalanche, and it was the rear wheel, so he just got terrified, and gravel imbeded into his head. He’s fine today.
If that happened today...well, I drive a H2.....

Especially if they are short-haired! I dunno the answer, no dog of mine would have to do that. They pretty much live like royalty ...'til duck season.
