Not sure what model you are using, but most (older) Palm Pilots coe with only 8, 16, or 32 MB of on board memory. This means that it’s wise to have an expansion card. A 2GB is great. Just slip it in the slot and never remove it.
To look at any Microsoft document requires third party software like Documents To Go. Their office suite runs around $50.00 and you can buy it on line or at a local store that sells PDAs. I use it and it works great. I moved from a Palm m515 to a Treo 650 and the program works well on both.

Re memory. It said I had 24 megs of memory left. So I added a 2 gig expansion card.
When I fill up 24 megs of data, the overflow goes to the expansion card?
