NOTES: This is the first time since the start of the three division era that the two LCS series have each matched the two best records in their league (96-66). Computer baseball sim Imagine Sports/Diamond Mind Baseball ran the 2007 ALCS 1,000 times, and the Red Sox won 59% of the time. If the Red Sox won game 1, they won the series 72.5% of the time, and if Cleveland won, the Indians won 59% of the time.

He is currently manager of the Macon Music. It is an independant minor league team.
Phil Plantier is a minor league manager in Macon, Georgia. However, I wonder whatever happend to Mo Vaughn?
A weird stance is better than a....nevermind, won’t say it.
The comments I have heard and overheard from non baseball fans has been pretty stupid as well. Everything from “ Soccer is a far superior sport “ to “ they should make them donate all their money to the poor “ to “ Why are they wearing pads on their elbows, thats stupid.”
He was with the Mets for a year or two, I’m not sure what happened to him after that.

Who pays $75.00 for parking at Fenway?! We pay $15.00 at the Prudential Center (advertised as "special Red Sox rate"). It's an easy walk - just short of a mile - to Fenway from there (and clean hotel restrooms if we need them). There's another lot that's probably only a 1/4 mile from Fenway that used to charge $15, but has gone up to $30. We use them in a pinch, but not very often.
I really hope when the new park is built it seats fifty thousand: they would fill it. I know so many guys who work their tail off all week long but simply can not afford the luxury of taking their kids to a baseball game. They simply cant pull $300.00 out of the family budget to do it.
What new ballpark? Fenway is and - as far as I've heard - always going to be the home of the Red Sox. I would be heartbroken if they ever tore it down. The owners have been renovating Fenway each off season for the past 4-5 years, adding more seats yet preserving its historical appearance. The goal is to end up with just shy of 40,000 seats.
We go to 15-20 games a year at Fenway. We've never bought tickets through $tubHub. We buy them directly from the Red Sox when they go on sale during the winter (starting in December). We basically have to give up a couple of weekend days to man the phones (re-dial, re-dial) and computers (virtual waiting room). It's a lot of work, but it pays off.
The average ticket price we've paid is $27.00 (grandstand above left field). Bleacher seats are about $23.00, and upper bleacher seats still are only $12.00. If we don't like our seats once we get there, we've found plenty of neat places to stand (with great views of the field), or sometimes we get lucky and find empty seats in a better section.
Thanks. In the off season we lose zero players to free agency. There is an option on Byrd so we'll need to decide wether to keep him or call up another pitcher from our well stocked farm system.
The Tribe didn’t hit enough and the starting pitching was weak. Betancourt gave it up last night after a great postseason. Raffi-Left sucked.
I would say that a lot of the issues for the Tribe had to do with their age as a team. You could see Carmona and Sabathia just melting down from the pressure out there and trying to blow the Sox away. As they get older and learn from this experience I expect them to dominate the game for years as a tandem.
The Indians have some exciting young players and will be back in the hunt for a few years to come. Be proud of your team. I think that they were a great opponent to the Sox and worthy of a lot of respect.
congratulations!
Well thank you.
The Yankees will be back.
But not as long as Hillary remains NY Senator.....
Tough call though when you consider the alternative.
That’s a great shot! Thanks.
